Project PI - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
I am a geoecologist, process-based modeler, and scientific diver with a passion for understanding aquatic ecosystems—whether in lakes, or rivers. My research focuses on the distribution of macrophytes and their interactions within freshwater environments. Currently, I am a PostDoc with the vegetation science group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Project PI - WasserCluster Lunz
I am a Limnologist with broad interests spanning various aspects of limnology. My previous research focused on intermittent streams, phytoplankton, zooplankton, macroinvertebrates, and macrophyte
management. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral researcher in the RESTORE4Cs project, studying the potential of coastal wetland restoration as a tool for climate mitigation.
Department of Life Sciences at the University of Siena
I am a botanist and plant ecologist with a strong interest in studying the plant component of freshwater systems. My research focuses specifically on the dynamics and interactions between plants and aquatic environments. I am currently a PhD student of the Vegetation Science group of the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Siena (Italy), working on a project that investigates the plant biodiversity hosted by agricultural ponds and explores the relationships between plants, environmental parameters, and climatic factors.
